About the Author
Mary Beth Lacy was born in Princeton, New Jersey. She attended Stuart Country Day School and was an avid figure skater. She enjoyed learning to play golf at Springdale Golf Club.
Her family moved to Sea Island, St Simons Island, Georgia, in high school, where she attended and graduated from Frederica Academy. She was a member of the boys’ golf team, eventually becoming captain of the team and the most valuable player. She played at Sea Island Golf Club and was a Davis Love the Second student.
